Kappa curry | Mara Valli kilangu curry | Tapioca curry is a very tasty and traditional food of south India. It’s a very suitable combination of fish curry and beef curry.

INGREDIENTS

Mara Valli kilangu

500kg

Coconut grater

2 table spoons

Turmeric

1 tea spoon

Red chilli powder

1 tea spoon

Pepper(whole)

1 table spoon

Jeera/cumin

1teaspoon

Cloves

2 nos’

Dry red chilly

Coconut oil

1 table spoon

Preparation:

·     Take half kg Mara Valli kilangu, peel and clean. Chop into small pieces.

·     Take a pan, add chopped Mara Valli kilangu pieces and add ½ tea spoon turmeric and water.

·     Boil it for 5 mins and drain water.

·     Again, add water to Mara Valli kilangu and add salt as required and cook it well.

·     Take a mix jar, add 2table spoon grater coconut,1/2 tea spoon turmeric,1tea spoon cumin,1 tea spoon red chilli powder and cloves. Give one pulse in mixer.

·     Mara Valli kilangu is cooked .now ,smash it well.

·     Add the masala (which we grind) to Mara Valli kilangu and mix it well and cook until raw smell goes.

·     Now, take a pan, add 1tablespoon coconut oil .

·     Once oil gets heat and 1 table spoon whole pepper and dry red chilli and handful of curry leaves.

·     Mix it well and add to Mara Valli kilangu curry.

·     Now our tasty Mara Valli kilangu curry is ready.
